I believe that Windows 8 still supports booting from a machine with Secure Boot turned off. You only need it turned on if you're an OEM who wants to use the Windows 8 sticker. For Windows 8, I think we'll still have dual booting. With a giant amount of luck, maybe gaming on open platforms will have caught up before the release of Windows 9, or whatever garbage they release next. I'm not holding my breath, though.
