I do not see this as much of a problem as long as it can be disabled in boot menu by a person who wants to run Linux on another drive on the same PC .
If one cannot disable it then we are back to "Let's (all those who care) boycott everything MS" for unfairly hogging the market...and lobby our governments to go Linux like France and the Netherlands have started doing.
