I've had the same trouble (tried EFI boot: no laptop display, tried legacy boot: "Select CD-ROM boot type"), so will have to stick with F15 for the moment.
BZ#765954 (https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=765954) and BZ#826661 (https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=826661) look relevant. If you plug in an external monitor you'll be able to see what you're doing, but that isn't exactly an ideal solution for a laptop…
