I am very disappointed to hear this news from a linux distributor.
This should be challenged in court or the openness of the PC platform, that we all have enjoyed and many have profited from, will be gone.
Taking this action would be giving a seal of approval and actively buying into Microsoft's scheme as well as participating in helping Microsoft lock down our platform. The small cost to Fedora of getting what it wants from Microsoft is a huge cost we will all be paying later by accepting this.
I will not recommend Fedora to anyone again should this happen.
