Doubling pixel size? How does one do that? And how does the renderer have "more" pixels - aren't they just "double the size" but still the same amount, if I'm following what you said correctly? Unfortunately I don't own an Apple anything so I haven't kept up with their past or current pixel plays - but after reading this I will read up on the Retina display (which I always look at at Best Buy, and I swear, for my own personal use, it looks like it would kill me - even Android is getting pretty bad in that regard, with the new tablets they have coming out).
