I think calling someone a "rape apologist" is so close you can get to an execution without actually doing it.
I have read the 0038-mail again. The only thing I see is a thought-experiment and some opinions - and everyone reacts by burning the man, simply because he dares to question common belief.
I find Ted's view questionable, but I find this witch hunt pathetic and narrow minded.
