Obviously accessibility does matter. Most other things however, don't really matter all that much.

I'm pretty sure the Ubuntu project is rather open about aiming for a great user experience. If LDM lacked essential functionality then it wouldn't have been accepted. And, the lack of bloat *is* a feature.
