This is what I did in 32 bit Ubuntu 16.04. But I got bad system call error.

sudo apt-get install git

git clone https://github.com/mjg59/xevilteddy

cd xevilteddy/

sudo apt-get install snacraft

sudo apt-get install libxtst-dev

snapcraft snap

sudo snap install xevilteddy_0.1*.snap

/snap/bin/xevilteddy.xteddy
