Does AMT require a different IP?

I'm assuming that AMT acts like an iLO for the desktop. Would this mean that the IP address used would be different to that of the OS?

Looking in the intel management and security status utility, the Network information on the advancex tab shows 0.0.0.0 which Im assuming means that AMT is not provisioned/configured.

Would this assumption be correct?
