The OEMs probably won't. The competitors to MS will then need to do something to bring pressure on the OEMs or MS to mitigate the damage. The RH/open source community is openly discussing this (this posting, with OEMs and HW vendors like Intel/AMD). This is a more insidious form of attack similar to the http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Browser_wars.
