Why take the risk of what? What will your co-workers do if they manage to decrypt your workstation?
Personally I leave my work machine running 24/7. If I have a need to, I can ssh in. And if I forgot and turned off my machine, I call one of my co-workers and say "hey, can you switch on my PC?" Nothing bad ever happened to me...
I really am interested in what the threat from your co-workers is.
