The threat from my coworkers actually doesn't exist; that last part was just a joke.

However, if you can call a coworker and ask them to turn on your PC to gain SSH access, then I guess you haven't encrypted your hard drive, so I'm not really sure why you're in this thread discussing cryptsetup.

Or perhaps you can remotely unlock your root partition by sending a key file or password through an SSH instance running on your initramfs. That would require much more engineering than my use case, and I'm genuinely interested in how you can accomplish that.

Anyway, the main idea behind my project is that you can easily create your own unlocking scheme tailored to your requirements and preferences.
