I have worked in audio visual for some years, and tv's overscanning is such a pain in the ass. The options to just scan are either not there, or incredibly convoluted to find. Take samsung. Bring up the input menu, hold tools, change the label to pc (a label is just a name, or not?), as opposed to game or satellite or nothing. No consumer will find this easily.
